Q: Why is the Artwork Style price separate from the Product Price in your Shop?
A: It's very simple. We often have customers who purchase 1 Artwork Style (per 1 uploaded image) and wish to have the resulting creation applied to several different gift items in our Collection. Rather than bundle the cost of creating the artwork together with the cost of each product, we've separated them. The way we figure it, why should you be charged 3 times for 1 artwork style you want applied to 3 products? That just doesn't seem fair to us.
Q: What's included in the artwork price?
A:Included in the artwork price is the selected Artwork Style (applied to 1 uploaded image), any color correting and/or image retouching necessary to achieve the best results with the selected Artwork Style, one minor client-requested change (consuming under 15 minutes of design time), up to 2 digital PDF proofs, and an 18x24-inch matte poster print. One image per artwork style.
Q: Are there any additional artwork fees?
A: Additional design fees only apply if you would like to change photos or make major changes (consuming over 15 minutes of design time) after we have completed the design work on your selected Artwork Style. This usually amounts to half of the design fee. For example, if the design fee for your Artwork Style is $70, major changes or changing to a different photo will cost an additional $35. Also, if you decide on a new Artwork Style after we have begun work on your original design, we must charge the full design fee for that new design.
Q: How will I know what my custom artwork will look like?
A: You will receive a PDF proof via email showing what your image(s) looks like when professionally rendered in the Artwork Style(s) you selected during the ordering process.
Q: When will I receive my PDF proof?
A: Within 1 week of placing your order and uploading your photos to our site.
Q: What if I haven't received my PDF proof?
A: First, check your Spam filter to be sure we didn't get caught in there. If you still don't find an email with your proof, Contact us with your order number and the date you placed your order. Please be sure to create a rule with your Spam filter to allow emails to be received from PopArtBabies.com.
Q: Can I order PopArtBabies.com custom creations as a gift for someone?
A:Yes, we can have an order delivered to someone else. Or if you're not quite sure what to buy, we offer Gift Certificates in any denomination.
Q: How many different Artwork Styles do you offer?
A:Currently, we feature a total of 141 distinct Artwork Styles for you to choose from. If you have a special request for something you don't see on our website, please Contact Us and our Creative Team will be more than happy to whip something up for you.
Q: How many different items do you offer?
A: Our Collection is growing every day. At the moment, we feature 92 distinct items, divided into 10 categories. If you don't see what you're looking for, please Contact Us for a custom item request. If you can imagine it, we can produce it!
Q: How do I place an order with PopArtBabies.com?

Q: What payment methods to you accept?
A: PopArtBabies.com.com accepts PayPal® and all major credit cards, including VISA®, MasterCard®, American Express®, Discover®, as well as all major bank debit cards.

Q: Is it safe to shop with you?
A: Absolutely. We've partnered with PayPal® as our online payment provider. By utilizing PayPal®'s world-class secure servers for your transaction, PopArtBabies.com is able to offer one of the safest ways to shop online today. In addition, we do not store any of your credit card information after your purchase is complete. We've selected one of the web's most highly regarded payment providers to do our best to ensure your financial information remains secure. Lastly, we will never distribute, sell, or otherwise give out any of your personal information. We value your business and your trust.
Q: You just mentioned PayPal®. What if I don't have a PayPal® account?
A: Not a problem. As we said earlier, we accept all major credit cards—all through the PayPal® secure server. Nothing could be more convenient. The only difference when shopping with a credit card and not using your PayPal® account is that you will be prompted to click to return to our website to upload your image(s), rather than being automatically returned to us. Don't worry. It's just the friendly folks at PayPal® giving you the opportunity to create an account with them for future use, if you like. There is no obligation to do so and, by clicking the "Return to..." button, you will come back to us safe and sound.
Q: Is my personal information safe with PopArtBabies.com?
A: Yes. PopArtBabies.com.com will never sell, distribute, or otherwise give out your personal information. Also, we never store your payment details (credit card/PayPal® information). We value your privacy and trust.
Q: When do I upload my photos?
A: After your purchase is complete, you will be directed to our Image Upload Portal. There you can browse and select the image(s) to be uploaded, note the artwork style that image will be transformed into, note the item(s) in your order that will be decorated with the artwork created from each individual image, provide the customer name and order number associated with the order (for the most efficient processing), and list any additional information or comments related to your order. You can also email the same image(s) and information directly to us.
Q: I've gone through the ordering process and didn't get directed to your Image Upload Portal. Help! What do I do now?
A: If you placed your order and were not directed to our Image Upload Portal for some reason, just point your browser to http://www.popartababies.com/upload.php and you'll be back on the right track. If you have any other questions, please feel free to Contact Us.
Q: It looks like I can only upload 3 photos in your Image Upload Portal. My order has more photos than that. What do I do?
A: After you upload your first 3 photos, you will have the option to return to the Image Upload Portal to send us the additional photos your order requires.
Q: What are your image requirements?
A: Be sure to upload the largest, uncompressed version of your image(s) downloaded directly off your camera or memory card. Generally speaking, images shot at the highest resolution on a 6-megapixel camera (or higher) will be more than adequate for PopArtBabies.com's purposes. If your image is a little small for the final product size you selected, we are able to enlarge it to a point without distortion. However, if the supplied image(s) is too small to reproduce clearly, we will contact you immediately with a recommended course of action.
Q: Do you have any other general photo tips besides what I've seen in your individual Artwork Style descriptions?
A: Try to choose a photo where the subject's head is whole and not obstructed by anything else in the image or is cut off by the edge of the photo. Many of our Artwork Styles require cutting out the subject and removing them from their original background. Such flaws would make for a less-than-desirable result in these cases.
A: If your image has several subjects and the Artwork Style(s) you select specify the need for a focus (all subjects, one or two particular subjects), please note the person(s) to be the focus of the artwork in the Additional Comments section of the Image Upload Portal when uploading your image(s).
Q: What if I don't have a digital image? What if I only have a 35mm negative, hard copy print, or a slide/transparency?
A: Call us directly at 866.867.9407. Our Customer Service team will assist you as to how best to have your physical images translated into an acceptable digital format. For such special circumstances, PopArtBabies.com offers scanning services at $25 per image for a hard copy, opaque/reflective or transparent, up to 8in x 10in.
Please note: PopArtBabies.com understands the irreplaceable value of your original photographs. We will take great care with your photo while we use it to create your custom artwork. All original prints will be safely packaged and shipped back to you with your order. Of course, we cannot assume any responsibility for your photograph before it arrives in our possession or after it leaves us on its way back to you. If you are worried about your photo being mishandled in transit, we suggest you mail us a copy and keep the original under your care.
Q: Can I have any input into the creative process?
A: Absolutely! Colors can invoke emotions, specific memories, or even just a general warm fuzzy feeling. If there's a color you would like us to specifically include as a dominant hue (or specifically leave out), please let us know in the "Additional Comments" section of the Image Upload Portal.
Q: What If I like the background pattern/image and want only that printed on my item(s)?
A: Sure thing. Our patterns and background images are ultra high quality and beautiful on their own. If you want to print our artwork as-is, simply select the "Art Only (NO Photo)" option in the Creative Services Option drop-down menu on selected Artwork Styles.
Q: The examples on your website look so great. Did you use professional photography to create them?
A: No. All of the examples on PopArtBabies.com were created from spontaneous, casual snapshots. Each of the original images we started with were taken with a consumer-level digital point-and-shoot camera (5-8 megapixels). Also, since they are all of the same child, you can more easily see the differences between our Artwork Styles—making choosing the right one for you that much easier!
Q: What if I want my custom artwork reproduced on a product I don't see on your website?
A: Not a problem. Contact us with the item you would like. If you've seen this item somewhere else, please tell us where. We'll personally respond to your request within 48 hours with our custom creative solution.
Q: How much is shipping?
A: We proudly ship via the United States Postal Service. Most orders are shipped using flat rate USPS Priority Mail box rates. Actual cost is determined by final product size. Most shipping costs are between $8.95 and $14.95 for the first item and less for each subsequent item when you order 2 or more of a particular product. All edible items are shipped separately at a flat rate of $38.95 per individual product to ensure a timely delivery of perishable goods. All shipping charges are displayed during the checkout process, prior to your placing an order.
Q: Where do you ship to?
A: Currently we offer domestic (USA) shipping only via USPS. If you would like to place an international order, please Contact Us and we'll be more than happy to take care of you.
Q: When will I receive my order?
A: In general, approximately 3-5 weeks after you approve your emailed PDF proof. However, certain products have shorter or longer production times. Please see the individual product you are referring to for more specific information.
Q: What if I need my order in a hurry?
A: Contact Us and a Customer Service representative will assist you with additional shipping and production options where available. Please note that major holiday seasons are a rush for us and our partner providers. For timely delivery, please order well in advance.
Q: What if I'm not happy with my order?
A: PopArtBabies.com.com stands behind it's products, both the artistic design and the integrity of the products your artwork is produced on. Each item is hand-inspected before it leaves our facility to ensure your satisfaction. If you have any problems, please Contact Us. We will promptly respond within 48 hours.
Q: Can I get a refund?
A: Please Contact us if you're not happy with your PopArtBabies.com order. Once we know what the problem is, we'll let you know how we can help. Please note, however, that we only issue refunds or have orders reproduced in exceptional circumstances rather than as a matter of policy. We must adhere to this policy because every piece we create is custom-made for you and we cannot place it back in inventory and resell it if you cancel the order after production has begun.
Q: Can I change or cancel my order?
A: That depends on how far along in the process your order has gone.
- If you haven't received your PDF proof yet, Contact Us immediately and we will refund all charges.
- If you have received your PDF proof but have NOT approved it, Contact Us immediately you will only be charged for the artwork portion of your original invoice and refunded the rest.
- If you have received your PDF proof and HAVE approved it, Contact Us immediately. If your order has not entered production, we will be able to refund everything except the artwork portion of your invoice. However, if your order has begun production, it is too late to edit or cancel it.
We must adhere to this policy because every piece we create is custom-made for you and we cannot place it back in inventory and resell it if you cancel the order after production has begun.
Q: Do you offer bulk/corporate/event pricing?
A: Yes. Please contact Customer Service directly at 866.867.9407 and we will be more than happy to provide a custom quote based on your individual needs.
Q: Can I re-order a previously created design?
A: Yes you can. Once we create a design for you, we save it on our servers forever. All you have to do to re-order is order the item(s) you want the previously created Artwork Style reproduced on. Then simply email our Art Department directly and note your last order number, your last name, and the month/year of your last order. If you can't find that information, Contact Us and we'll retrieve it for you.
Q: Do you outsource your Creative Services?
A: Absolutely not. All work is done in-house by our skilled Graphic Artists. They live, eat, and breathe this stuff. You couldn't be in better hands.
